Treat the Quran with respect
Quran text and translations shown in AyahLight are presented as received from their sources. Do not alter, paraphrase, or reproduce them in a way that changes their meaning, and do not present a translation as the Quran itself.
Be respectful of others
Harassment, hate speech, insults directed at any faith or group, threats, and sexual or violent content are not acceptable in any message, report, or feedback you send to us.
Keep contributions honest
Do not send spam, advertising, misleading claims, or impersonate another person or organisation. When you report a content concern, describe what you saw as accurately as you can.
Respect privacy
Do not share other people's personal information with us or through any feature of the app. Only include your own contact details when you write to support.
Reporting a concern
If you find content that seems incorrect, offensive, or mis-attributed, use the support page and choose the "Content concern" category. Include the surah and ayah numbers and the translation name where possible.
How we respond
We review reports and may correct content, contact the content provider, or restrict access to features for people who repeatedly break these guidelines. [CONFIRM: response time commitment.]
Changes to these guidelines
We may update these guidelines as AyahLight evolves. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
