Intended use

AyahLight is offered for personal reading and reflection. It is not a substitute for study with qualified teachers.

Quran content and translation attribution

Arabic Quran content and metadata are retrieved through Quran.Foundation services. Translations are the work of their respective translators or publishers and are identified in the reader.

A translation is an interpretation of meaning and is not the Quran itself.

No religious, legal or professional advice

Nothing in the app constitutes religious rulings, legal advice or professional guidance.

Intellectual property

The AyahLight name, icon, interface and original text are owned by the app owner. Third-party content remains the property of its rights holders.

Third-party services

The app depends on third-party services for content delivery and distribution. Their terms apply to their own services.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the app, misuse content requests, or use the app to distribute altered Quran text.

Availability and changes

The app and these terms may change. Features may be added, altered or withdrawn.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability
