Quran content sources

Transparency about where content comes from matters more than any feature.

Arabic Quran content

Arabic Quran text and surah metadata are obtained through Quran.Foundation APIs. AyahLight does not alter, paraphrase or regenerate Quran text.

Translations

Translations remain attributed to their respective translators or publishers. The reader identifies the translation being displayed.

A translation conveys interpretation of meaning; it is distinct from the Arabic Quran text.

Availability by language

Translation availability can differ by language, and some interface languages may have fewer translations than others.

Reporting a content concern
